PREPARATION BEFORE YOUR EYELASH LIFT
Be Sparkling Clean
Arrive with clean lashes, free from makeup, oils, creams, or tan. Clean lashes save your lash tech time and ensure optimal results.
Be Relaxed
Skip the coffee before your appointment. Caffeine can make you jittery, causing your eyelids to flutter during the treatment, which may complicate the application process.
Be Rested
If you wear contact lenses, remove them before your appointment. Your eyes will remain closed for the duration of the treatment, and being lens-free will keep you comfortable.
Be Hydrated
Apply a nourishing lash treatment like keratin or a hair bonding treatment before your appointment. This ensures your lashes are healthy and prepared for the process.

AFTERCARE FOR EYELASH LIFT: POST-TREATMENT TIPS
Keep Dry and Oil-Free
For the first 24-48 hours:
-
Avoid water, steam, or sweat on your lashes. This includes swimming, saunas, and excessive workouts.
-
Use oil-free face cleansers to prevent weakening the curl or fading the tint.
Avoid Makeup
Refrain from applying makeup on your lashes for at least 24 hours after the treatment. Waterproof mascara, in particular, can cause dryness and damage to your lashes.
Protect from Heat
Stay away from heat sources for at least 24 hours. Avoid hot showers, spas, steam rooms, and open flames, as heat can alter the shape of your lash lift.
AFTERCARE FOR EYELASH LIFT TREATMENTS
Hydration is Key
Nourish your lashes daily with a recommended serum or keratin treatment. This keeps your lashes strong, hydrated, and healthy while prolonging the results of your lash lift.
Gentle Brushing
Use a clean spoolie to brush your lashes gently each morning. This maintains their shape and prevents them from tangling.
Sleeping Considerations
Try to sleep on your back for the first few days after your treatment. Pressing your face into the pillow can disrupt the shape of your lashes.
Book Regular Maintenance
Eyelash lifts typically last 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle and the type of curl achieved. Once your lashes start to grow out and lose their shape, it’s time to schedule a touch-up eyelash lift.
WHAT TO AVOID TO MAXIMISE YOUR AFTERCARE FOR EYELASH LIFT TREATMENTS
-
Rubbing or Touching: Resist the urge to rub your eyes or tug at your lashes.
-
Harsh Products: Avoid exfoliants, glycolic acids, and retinol-based products around your eyes for 72 hours.
-
Tinting Too Soon: If combining with tinting, always follow your stylist’s recommendations to avoid over-processing.

ALLERGY AND SENSITIVITY CONSIDERATIONS
Some redness or minor irritation is normal after an eyelash lift, especially in clients with sensitive skin. Any tint residue on the lash line will fade within a couple of washes. If a reaction occurs, please contact us immediately or seek medical advice.
